Do you know about any amazing stories, rumours, or characters from Hillsborough Park’s history?
What are your own memories of the park? Is there an event or person you think should feature in its history?
Do you have any images from the park, that you’ve taken or that you’ve found in family albums or old books?
Age UK Sheffield are transforming The Old Coach House in Hillsborough Park into a dementia-friendly café. As part of this project we are collecting stories, pictures and memories of Hillsborough Park, past and present, to build a new community archive.
Share yours below by typing text, recording your voice, or uploading a picture or file – or pick up a postcard from Hillsborough Library and drop it into the Parkive Postbox during library opening hours!
Please note, by submitting below or via the postbox you are consenting for your submission to be included in the publicly available community archive. Selected submissions may be included in an exhibition in The Coach House Cafe.
If you have any questions, or would prefer to send your Parkive submission via email, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Look out for more exciting events throughout the summer, including workshops, performances and other ways to get involved!
